HOW ACQUIRED:
First of two seventh-round picks (236th overall) in 2012. Fourth player drafted out of Arizona State by Seattle and first since Solomon Bates in 2003.

NFL CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
• In 2011, saw action on special teams in the season opener at San Francisco (9/11), but injured his hip and was placed on injured reserve September 17.
• Saw limited action at defensive end and on special teams in 15 games during 2010 rookie campaign totaling eight tackles and a sack to go along with six tackles and a fumble recovery on special teams.

COLLEGE:
Started all 50 games of ASU career, the most starts by any player in school history. Departed school ranked third in Sun Devil history with 31.0 career sacks, behind only Terrell Suggs (44.0) and Shante Carver (41.0). Finished in the top three in sacks in the Pacific-10 Conference as a sophomore and junior. Totaled 136 tackles, 45.0 tackles for loss and 10 forced fumbles in his four seasons.

PERSONAL:
Attended Thunderbird High School (Phoenix). All-region selection by PrepStar Magazine. Two-time first-team allstate honoree (as a junior and senior) and was an All-Arizona selection by the Arizona Republic. Named Super All-State 2004 on defense by Phoenix Metro Football Magazine and won the Curley Culp Award, presented by the Valley of the Sun Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Fame to the state's best defensive lineman. Collected over 120 tackles and six quarterback sacks as a senior . Three-time letterman and captain of the football team as a senior. Also lettered three times in track and field and wrestling and captained each team as a senior. Was the state of Arizona 4A wrestling champion at 215 pounds as a junior and senior. Parents are Craig (sales engineer) and Janice (receptionist) Davis of Phoenix, Ariz. Full name is Dexter Alexander Davis.
